Former political adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan and a chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Ahmed Gulak, has been shot useless in Owerri, Imo State.
Gulak was shot by gunmen round Umueze Obiangwu in Ngor-Okpala Native Authorities Space near the Sam Mbakwe Airport highway, in Owerri, Imo State
Gulak was on his approach to the airport when the assailants attacked him and shot him on the spot, after trailing him from his resort room to the place he was killed. In the meantime, the Commissioner of Police in Imo State, Abutu Yaro has instructed an intensive investigation into the matter as Tactical and Particular forces have been deployed to the realm and arrest perpetrators
